LAW OFFICES OF CORY WESTMORELAND

Mr. Westmoreland was born in Los Angeles, California, but grew up in Troy, Michigan.  He became interested in the legal profession in his junior year in college at Western Michigan University, while in his business law class.  He graduated in the Fall of 2007 from the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University.

  
Mr. Westmoreland attended the Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley School of Law shortly after graduating undergrad. While in law school he worked at various law offices, prosecutors offices, and clerked for the Honorable Rosemarie Aquilina at the 30th Circuit Court in Ingham County.  After graduation, Mr. Westmoreland pursued his L.L.M., specializing in Homeland and National Security Law.

Additionally, he served four (4) terms as an associate editor on the Homeland and National Security law review before graduating with honors.  

Mr. Westmoreland is licensed in Michigan and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  His main focus is practicing criminal defense, but prides his practice on a wide range of civil and family matters as well.  Mr. Westmoreland prides himself on always being available to his clients.  Meeting his clients goals and expectations are his top priority when the attorney-client relationship has commenced.  

In his free time, Mr. Westmoreland enjoys golfing, baseball, basketball, football, and traveling with his family.
